Ethnicity data: a vital tool for health

Here at the Race Equality Foundation, we have been commissioned by the Wellcome Trust to explore the recording of ethnicity in health-related settings.

This a major project to try and improve the data available, so that it can better contribute to addressing health inequalities. But first it’s important to understand what’s wrong with the data currently and why this work is needed.
