Finance settlement pulled for new terror law

Tomorrow’s local government finance settlement has been pulled to make way for emergency legislation to end the automatic early release of terrorists.

Local government minister Luke Hall tweeted: ‘Such swift action to protect the public means we will now hold the vote on the #localgov settlement as soon as possible after recess.
