Firms say government needs to do more

Key firms providing services to councils have welcomed measures to mitigate the damaging effects of the Covid-19 crisis but said more needs to be done. 

The UK Home Care Association (UKHCA) said extra demands on home care have thrown the underlying social care crisis into sharp relief despite an injection of £1.6bn emergency cash.
