'Fourth option' could deliver £6bn for regeneration

Some £6bn could be invested into regeneration by adopting a ‘fourth option’ for local authority property projects, a study into a new model of delivering services has claimed.

The study, based on 21 English local authorities already using the model and on course to generate £374m of investment in construction, said that if adopted across all of England 36,000 new homes and 104,000 jobs could also be created.
