LGA chair Lord Porter has joined the campaign to return one of England’s oldest football clubs to its home ground – but ruled himself out of a sensational ‘Roy of the Rovers’ comeback.
Lord Porter, a political right-winger, was last week pictured proudly wearing the colours of 125 year-old Dulwich Hamlet FC, the London-based non-league club recently evicted from the Champion Hill stadium.
