Government must confront social care staffing crisis 'head on'

The Government must confront the social care staffing crisis head on if they are to pursue immigration reform, the director of research and economics at The Health Foundation charity has said.

Writing in The MJ, Anita Charlesworth said social care’s reliance on migrant workers was a ‘symptom’ of the staffing crisis and ‘not the cause’.
