Greater Manchester’s healthy case for digital innovation

COVID-19 has seen digital health and social care innovation delivered at a previously un-imaginable pace in Greater Manchester.

With a devolved £6bn health and social care budget, Greater Manchester’s ten local councils, NHS organisations and other public bodies, including Health Innovation Manchester, were already collaborating to explore better ways of working to join up data from the many systems across the public sector.
