Helping parents who are struggling alone with abuse from their children

Decades of campaigning has seen intimate partner domestic abuse become a well-publicised problem, with the impact where a victim is male, in a same-sex relationship, or part of a marginalised community also moving up the national agenda.

But are we doing enough to support the parents who find themselves on the receiving end of violence, coercion and control from their own children?
