Lord Heseltine calls for a cross-government approach to regeneration

Lord Heseltine has put the case for a senior cross-departmental Cabinet Minister and committee to lead on regeneration, 'mirrored in the big regional centres'.

Speaking today at a webinar on the devolution agenda, he said he would put a senior Cabinet minister in charge of the committee, ‘and I would mirror that in the big regional centres of the country’.
