Hodge set to step down from Surrey

Surrey CC leader Cllr David Hodge will announce his departure from the crisis hit authority at a full council meeting tomorrow.  

Cllr Hodge has been leader for eight years and had previously told local papers he would ‘most likely’ step down at the next election. However, the timetable for his departure has been brought forward.
