Hooton appointed to London borough top job

Barnet LBC’s interim chief executive has taken up the top role on a permanent basis. 

John Hooton, who has worked at the authority for more than six years and has been acting boss for the past nine months, described the London borough as a ‘fascinating and diverse place’ as he vowed to deliver public services of the ‘highest possible quality’.
