Theresa May’s first week as prime minister saw her peppered with calls from across the public and private sector for renewed action on housing.

Focus quickly turned to the subject at Mrs May’s first prime minister’s questions, where she faced a string of enquiries from Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on the inability of young people to access the housing ladder and the price of starter homes.
