Hull’s proactive approach to housing

At Hull City Council we take our leadership role in addressing the need for homes seriously and have taken a proactive approach through planning, using our own land and assets and working in partnership to ensure a broad range of homes are delivered in the city.

The council’s housing strategy supports the city’s economic growth, not only by improving neighbourhoods and creating great places to live, but also through the creation of local jobs and local supply chain opportunities associated with the construction of new homes.
