Improved efficiency saves hundreds of millions

London boroughs have saved almost half a billion pounds in adult social care by improving efficiency, a report has revealed.

Research from London Councils showed local authorities in the capital achieved £480m in adult social care savings between 2015/16 and 2017/18 through increased efficiency.
