Interim chief loses out after leader quits

Slough Council will restart the recruitment process to find a permanent chief executive after the resignation of leader, Cllr Sohail Munawar.

Full council had been asked to approve the permanent appointment of interim chief executive Roger Parkin, Cllr Munawar’s favoured candidate.
