Jenrick backs virtual meeting legal action

Communities secretary Robert Jenrick has backed a legal challenge to allow councils to carry on with virtual meetings.

His support comes despite the Government’s failure to secure the parliamentary time to extend existing emergency legislation which expires on 6 May.
