Kensington & Chelsea RLBC’s leader has launched a striking defence of the ‘incredible response of staff and councillors’ to the Grenfell Tower fire.
In a remarkable shift in tone from her own previous comments, Cllr Elizabeth Campbell, said: ‘There hasn’t been an appropriate moment to say that, but they actually really did do their bit.’
