COVID-19 has been with us in the UK for a year, the strangest year most of us will have ever lived through.  

In terms of our response as a public service, it is a major incident - but one that is ongoing, long lasting and reaching into every aspect of our lives.  It has, for all these reasons, presented unique leadership challenges.
