Local leaders pile on vaccine pressure

Frustrated local government leaders have piled pressure on ministers and officials over the speed and secrecy surrounding the coronavirus vaccine rollout.

Ministers have suggested that almost 14 million people could be in line for a COVID vaccine by the middle of next month and that every adult in the UK will be offered a jab by the autumn.
