Mears expects revenue loss as councils 'delay new contracts'

Social housing maintenance company Mears Group has suggested councils are delaying new contracts as they review safety measures in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Mears Group, which is also a major care provider in the UK, said the fallout from the blaze that killed at least 80 people had made a dent in its full-year revenues.
