The New Local Government Network (NLGN) and community interest company Collaborate have launched a new commission into the future of place-based health.
Chief executive of social care charity Turning Point, Lord Victor Adebowale, will chair the commission, which will look at how the NHS and councils can improve health outcomes when demand is rising and budgets are being cut.
