More than two out of three English councils were able to increase home care provision as a result of the Improved Better Care Fund, according to new data.
A £2bn fund was announced in the Spring Budget last year and has already had a significant impact on local authorities’ social care provision, a survey by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government found.
