Officers could be identified under future Ofsted rules

Poor performing local authority chief executives and their management teams could be named and shamed in future Ofsted reports, the watchdog’s chief inspector has suggested. 

Sir Michael Wilshaw said he was ‘very tempted’ to identify individual managers following inspections of children’s services to prevent poor managers hopping between authorities without scrutiny.
