Oh Joy! Broadmarsh to go

Nottingham City Council ran a poetry competition to select who swung the first blow of the sledgehammer when contractors dismantle the widely-loathed Broadmarsh Car Park.

Joyous Joy Rice from Bulwell was chosen to lead the dismantling of one of Britain’s least-loved monuments.
