Liverpool City Council this week launched a campaign to ensure that no resident of the city-region will live rough on the streets for more than one night.

The ‘No second night out' initiative is backed by six Merseyside-based authorities and a host of charities – and centres on ensuring that any rough sleepers in their vicinity are quickly identified and offered support.
