Ongoing tensions highlighted at Edinburgh

An independent review of whistleblowing and the wider culture at Edinburgh City Council has highlighted the impact of ongoing tensions between elected members.

The review’s independent chair, Susanne Tanner QC, urged the political groups to ensure all members attend training around member-officer protocol, councillor conduct and whistleblowing.
