Eight councillors now make up the council's new cabinet. Cllr James Alexander, council leader; Cllr Tracey Simpson-Laing, deputy leader; Cllr Dave Merrett; Cllr Sonia Crisp; Cllr Ruth Potter; Cllr Sandy Fraser; Cllr Julie Gunnell and Cllr Janet Looker.
