Photo ID for elections will be even more difficult to 'sell' to the public

With the Elections Bill now introduced in Parliament, the Government appears to be pressing ahead with plans to introduce voter ID. It is a great shame they aren’t looking at consolidating the 75 pieces of legislation, many outdated, currently governing the legal minefield which elections already present!

However, voter ID is of particular interest to us here in Craven as we took part in the voter ID pilot during the 2019 local elections.
