Retrograde step away from cities

It was disappointing Jeremy Hunt’s 110 measures for growth did not seem to understand the critical role of cities in driving the UK’s economy.

The only references in the chancellor’s 120-page Autumn Statement to the Core Cities were pre-announced measures on investment zones and devolution.
