Rural Dorset councils to cut more than 200 management posts

Councils in rural Dorset are to cut more than 200 management posts, and the job losses could in time save between £6m and £8m a  year.

None of the posts  are expected to be made redundant until the new Dorset Council comes into being next April, but some people could be given the chance to leave earlier.
