SOLACE Summit: Miller calls for social value approach change

Council chief executives have heard a rallying cry for them to bring their influence to bear on increasing social value’s role in procurement.

A survey carried out at the Society of Local Authority Chief Executive’s (SOLACE) annual conference today found 64% of delegates thought their council’s commissioning decisions were informed by social value only ‘slightly’.
