Scots councils moot winter warm spaces

A string of Scottish councils is believed to be considering the introduction of warm spaces this winter as the cost of living crisis bites.

A spokesperson for South Ayrshire Council said: ‘We will be looking at a range of measures to mitigate the impact of this, and this will include consideration of establishing warm banks.’
