Senior officer resigns amid ongoing council investigation

Cheshire East Council’s director of legal services has resigned four months after he was suspended amid an ongoing investigation into alleged officer conduct.

Bill Norman, who is also the council’s monitoring officer, was suspended by the council’s investigation and disciplinary committee (IDC) in July this year.
