Serious case review urges focus on home education

A serious case review has urged Government advisers to assess home education policies after a boy ‘disappeared from view’ for 14 months.

The review was commissioned by Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and involves a case in which a woman and man were jailed for a total of 10 years in April for neglect of the boy and his siblings.
