Social action - core to community wellbeing

Local government and the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) have more in common than anything that divides them.

Yet, there are differences – legal and otherwise. Local government is democratically accountable to local citizens and while local VCS bodies are accountable too, it is in a different way.
