Storm over council foster placements

Children's services directors have criticised the national media after a London council was caught up in a media storm over its placement of foster children.

National newspaper reports claimed that Tower Hamlets LBC placed a Christian child in the care of a Muslim family who removed her cross, refused to let her eat bacon and spoke in Arabic.
