The announcement of a national fostering stocktake and the Education Committee’s inquiry into fostering has shone a welcome spotlight on foster care.

Since the stocktake was announced we have had little information about how it will function and what it will include other than what has been published in the Government’s response to Sir Martin Narey’s review of residential care. We would welcome further information about that so we can usefully contribute.
