Telford to launch independent inquiry

Telford & Wrekin Council will launch an independent inquiry into historic and current child sexual exploitation, after the proposals received unanimous support in an emergency full council meeting last night.

Councillors agreed to launch the inquiry immediately and a report outlining how it will proceed is to be published next week.
