The top national job, that’s more local than you think

Who would want to be Prime Minister? On the face of it, it looks like a good job. Decent salary, house in central London and another in the country. And power…Lots of power. The power to shape the country, deliver your priorities, get things done – to be a key figure on the international stage.

But then the reality isn’t always like that – even when you haven’t got an international pandemic getting in the way.
