Tories reveal local government approach in manifesto

The Conservatives have revealed a raft of policies on social care, business rates, devolution, housing and children’s services in their manifesto.

As trailed before the launch, people with more than £100,000 in assets will have to pay for their own care out of the value of their home rather than rely on councils.
