West Country firms want decision on power plan

Council leaders have called on the Government to make a final decision on Hinkley Point C as soon as possible for the sake of local firms.

Business and energy secretary Greg Clark made a surprise announcement last week to delay a final decision about the nuclear power station until the autumn, less than 24 hours after the board of EDF Energy agreed to go ahead with the £18bn scheme.
