Western Isles Council criticised by Accounts Commission

Councillors at Western Isles Council must provide leadership and clear priorities if the organisation is to improve, the Accounts Commission has said.

Chair of the commission William Moyes has called on the council to ‘urgently develop a prioritised action plan to address the serious issues it faces’.
