It’s amazing how easy it is to bring the country to the edge of collapse.
All you need do is ask a brain-dead politician – take your pick there are plenty of ’em – to announce that ‘there’s absolutely nothing to worry about, plenty of fuel, no shortages, everything’s hunky dory’ to spark off a massive panic attack which empties the nation’s petrol stations in hours.
