Winning powers south of the river

While the issue of how to drive growth outside London may seem upper-most in the chancellor’s mind, there are also important questions about how the capital continues to grow.

Whoever becomes London’s new mayor on 6 May will need to clarify their strategy for growth. They will not be able to deliver this alone – but will have to work in partnership with councils, business and communities.
