I was pleased to be asked to speak at a session recently about encouraging our talented future female leaders to step forward for senior finance roles in local government.
It’s a subject close to my heart as I know we have some brilliant and talented women in our sector who would be perfect for roles that I’ve recruited to over the last few years, but their CVs don’t pass across my or others’ desks.
