You can leave your hat on

Name me a private sector organisation that has as many service lines or as many different income streams as a unitary authority has and I will eat my hat!

Last week, I spent a few hours talking about a new waste facility, a mere £600m odd, considered how to get value out of roads infrastructure (£25m odd), was in turmoil about the building of new houses notwithstanding bringing the ones we have up to a decent standard (many millions!).

I also spent time thinking about new vehicles to help us rebuild Tottenham and, while I was at it, Alexandra Palace also needs some funding to bring it back to its former glory.
