60% of homecare providers rejecting referrals

Almost two-thirds of Homecare providers are turning down referrals due to staff shortages, according to new research.

The Homecare Association found 61% of respondents said new client referrals were being declined due to staff sickness or isolation while 11% said they were also handing work back and ending support for some existing clients.
