Boris Johnson promises business rates cuts

Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the Confederation of British (CBI) Industry annual conference today that a ‘fundamental review’ of business rates will take place should his party win the election.

The Conservatives added that the ‘overall burden’ of business rates would be reduced as part of the review.
