Brabin calls for post-COVID devo deal

England’s first ever female metro mayor has called for a post-COVID devolution deal with new powers over climate change, transport, skills and innovation.

Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, wants to build on the region’s first £1.8bn deal struck with the Government in March 2020.
