Brown calls for 'constitutional revolution'

Gordon Brown has called for a ‘constitutional revolution,’ with a series of citizens’ assemblies and a forum for mayors and regional leaders to shape change.

Expressing regret that Labour did not do more while in power to challenge the regional disparities across the country, the former Prime Minister suggested his party had taken traditional supporters in the north of England, Wales and Scotland for granted.
